This Arnolt-MG is one of a total of 103 cars produced during a two-year production run and, until 2011, remained the personal property of the family of S. H. Arnolt, who was the owner of Arnolt, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois, which began importing foreign cars to the U.S. in the 1950s. Arnold sold four different manufacturer’s cars with Bertone bodies during the period 1953 to 1958. This car is completely original, down to the original bias-ply tires and has less than 2,400 original miles. The car features MG TD mechanicals, including the XPAG 54-hp engine and 4-speed transmission. Bertone constructed the hand-built coupé́ body. This Arnolt-MG is likely the most original and lowest mileage example of this marque in the world.
