This Aquamarine Dual Ghia is a luxurious and powerful Italian-American automobile based on the Virgil Exner-designed Firebomb show car. A total of 117 Dual Ghias were produced from 1956 to 1958. A 315-cu.-in., Dodge D-500 “Red Ram” Hemi, overhead- valve, V-8 engine, with a single Carter 4-barrel carburetor, rated at 230 hp at 4,300 rpm, coupled to a Chrysler PowerFlite, 2-speed, automatic transmission, powers the car. This Dual Ghia has 4-wheel, hydraulic drum brakes and independent front suspension with coil springs and a live rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs. A concours-level restoration was completed on this car by Joe Leweck of Bayberry Vintage Autos in Hampton, New Hampshire, in 2013.
