This English specification TC was the first postwar MG, with exactly 10,000 produced between September, 1945 and November, 1949. The design was largely a holdover from the prewar TB. The TC is powered by a 4 cylinder pushrod OHV engine developing 54.5 bhp at 5200 RPM. All TC’s were built with right-hand drive despite the fact that an export version featuring slightly smaller US specification sealed-beam headlights, larger twin tail lights, turn signals and chrome front and rear bumpers was produced.
