1933 Rolls Royce Phantom II Continental Sedanca DHC

Owned by Jay & Christina Moore, Lahaina, Hawaii

Rolls Royce started production of the Phantom II chassis in 1929. A portion of the production was designated primarily for export to the Continent, hence the name "Continental." With custom coachwork by Gurney-Nutting this car sold new to the 6th Earl of Rosebery in Scotland for the equivalent of $13,822 US. currency. In 1933 a 4-bedroom house could be purchased in the U.S. for $5,000, and a Ford car for less than $400. This multiple "Best of Show" winning automobile is powered by a high performance 7,668 cc engine.
