Margaret Dunning, shown here with her 1930 Packard 740 Roadster, receiving the HVA/FIVA Award at the 2014 Santa Fe Concorso. Margaret saw the need to preserve her Packard and drove it up to the time of her passing. The FIVA Award, now presented at many of the country’s most important concours, was designed to both celebrate and acknowledge these special vehicles and their owners.
The prestigious Lee Iacocca Award was established to recognize outstanding car enthusiasts for their "Dedication to Excellence in Perpetuating an American Automotive Tradition." This year's winner, Al Unser, Sr., four-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, joins a distinguished club of recipients, including John Force, Don Garlits, Ken Gross, Carroll Shelby, and others including Denise McCluggage, last year's recipient and co-founder of the Santa Fe Concorso.
